Moving Arts of Tampa Bay is a theatrical production company that bas been established to provide performance opportunities for young upcoming professional dancers and circus artists.
Moving Arts' Mission is to provide young artists with unique performing opportunities that blend Dance with Circus Arts. Moving Arts works in conjunction with Dance & Circus Arts of Tampa Bay, located in Clearwater, Fl. to provide athletes and artists for its productions. Through workshops and ongoing training, performers learn skills in:
- Aerial Training with Industry Professionals
- Chinese Acrobatics & Contortion
- All Dance Styles
- Musical Theater
- Drama & Stage Presentation
- Vocals
- Stage Make-up Application
Moving Arts offers 2 productions a year.
"The Snow Princess" is an annual Holiday Celebration. Included in the cast of characters are the Beautiful Snow Princess, her Penguins, the Ice Spirits, Butterscotch Bears, the Evil Henchman, Pierre the Pastry Chef and many other zany characters in her Princessdom. "The Snow Princess" is an enchanting celebration for the whole family to enjoy during the Holiday Season that blends Musical Theater with Circus Arts.
"Fairies, Inc." is held in March. This show is a blend of dance, cirque-style athleticism, aerial feats, song, and a charming storyline. Featured in "Fairies, Inc." is a one-of-its-kind triple trapeze that was designed for the Fairies to climb on. The Fairies flip, float, fly, spin and generally have a good time regardless of the evils that lurk in the forest.
